BIOGRAPHY
Hi, I’m Alison Richardson, also known as Barbie Doll. I started rapping in May 2017 just for fun! I wanted to see how the industry would react to someone like me. It’s been fun to see everyone’s response to my music – good or bad. Even though I’m new to the game, I’ve been involved in the music industry for years. At the age of 18, I met an Oklahoma City rapper named StaRR Lyfe and I traveled all over the US with him helping promote shows, learning about the music industry and eventually learned how to rap myself.
I make music for everyone but it's family-friendly because I don't curse or use any explicit language in my songs. I want people to be able to have fun with the music and relate to my lyrics. Some of my inspirations are Chanel West Coast and Gucci Mane.
My first music video, "Barbie World," reached over 250,000 views on Facebook in just a couple days. Because of its popularity, the producer offered me a trip to Paris, France and Amsterdam, Netherlands to shoot another video for my official single "Barbie Girl." I also made my first club appearance that month. Since then, I have released 3 more videos on Facebook and each video has reached over 3 million views within a week of posting. I am currently working on a song called "Sonny and Cher" featuring Riff Raff.
I was born and raised in Oklahoma City, OK and graduated from Westmoore High School. I am a certified licensed esthetician and an abstract acrylic artist. I also design my own outfits. On my website, you can purchase custom clothes and paintings that were created by me. My plan is to start multiple businesses including my own art gallery and beauty salon. I would also love to be professional model and do reality television while continuing my music career.
